The parents came down from Spokane Sunday afternoon to get the rest of the Citron I grew. So Saturday evening the wife and I went out the pick them. I don't think I need to grow Citron for a few years. We picked 45 of them. Add the 15 from a couple of weeks ago, that's a total of 60. Didn't weigh them but estimate they weighed 300 lbs total (all 60, average 5lbs).
Also dug the Sweet Potato bed, got 19 lbs of taters. Now I need to process them for freezing/canning seeing as they didn't get cured.
Cleaned the pole beans up today. Have been neglecting them for a couple weeks so have a few more than needed for seed me thinks.

Wow! That's a lot of melons! I too, need to clean up my beans, and will have plenty of seed to give away due to my negligence in harvesting!
Dang....that's an impressive harvest!! Man, i'm envious of the melons....
Here you are scraping ice, and I'm down here sweating like a stuck pig! I don't know which is worse. I guess I'd rather be sweating.
Though there is ice on the windshield, a killing frost has yet to appear. Still picking tomatoes and peppers but the cucumbers have finally died.
Wow! I am so envious of your melons! What a terrific harvest! We have yet to successfully grow melons...too much shade in the big garden, and last year I started some in one of the front yard beds but forgot to tell hubby...and he mowed over them! Someday, we, too, will have our own melons...I hope! Enjoy!
