Spring is here, I think

Noticed on the way home from work this evening that the Willow trees are greening up. Also have Tulips budding out.
Was lazy last night (Friday), no gardening done, bad me. I'll blame it on the rain.
Saturday - Lovely day. Didn't start out that way, just above freezing this morning (ice on windshield of PU) and pea soup fog. The fog lifted about 9:30 then the sun did shine. Temperature got to low 60s.
I filled the water line ditch about half way then built the support for the valves . while I did that the number 2 son was digging of the secondary water line .

I'm planning a different irrigation system for at least half my garden beds this spring. Right now I have rainbirds on timers, but they keep the foliage too wet so I get a lot of powdery mildew. I lay awake at night planning on how I really want it to be!

Darn, sorry Granny, didn't mean to delete your comment. If you are home welcome Home. Check out the video linked in my latest post.

I don't think you deleted my comment. It's not that easy to shut me up ;-)

That video is exactly what I was thinking of doing! I'm happy to see it works before I go through all that work drilling a thousand holes!
